I do however have to warn you about Doug.ie, he's a fat bald headed bloke who thinks he's king pin on the forums, however he is easily taken down a peg or two, if your having difficulty with him just ask and i'll give you a picture of him naked to use as a weapon!!

Oh...one last thing his dog is gay by the way!!!

-Most GS wins ever with 14 (tied with Sampras)
-237 consecutive weeks at #1 (record for both men and women)
-20 consecutive GS semi-finals appearances (previous record was 10)
-Most GS final appearances ever at 19 (tied with Lendl for the record)
-Reached a record 10 straight GS finals from 2005-2007, winning 8
-5 consecutive wins at both Wimbledon and the US Open (Bjorn Borg is the only other player to win 5 straight at any GS in the open era, which he did at Wimbledon)
-First player in open era to reach the French semis 5 straight times

It was brilliant, I was disappointed for Roddick, to have broken Federer twice compared to lost his once then still come runner up.. he gave it is all!!
It was those 4 set points in the 2nd that took it away from him!!

I did start to get a little bored at about 13 games all though! I struggle sitting still for 4 and a quarter hours!!!

As you get older and grow up you will find it easier to sit still longer :wink:

bugger growing up and getting older....

you end up moaning about aches and pains, needing surgery and getting coughs and colds all the time...

i'll stay young while I can :wink:


ps....

it wasnt so much the sitting still, it was the nagging of "how much longer you going to sit there" for the last hour and a half from the mrs that started to do my young head in!!
