Welcome
Welcome to the Hackenbush Herald.

You are currently viewing our boards as a guest, which gives you limited access to the most entertaining site on the Internet... Now stop being a fool and Join up or if you have already joined then Log on... we don't bite honestly!!
Inside you will find loads of interesting people to communicate with, laugh with, share a virtual beer with, and just ask for plain old help in anything you need... We are a wide and varied bunch, quite bizarre and strange in most of the things we do, but all good people at heart...
I do however have to warn you about Doug.ie, he's a fat bald headed bloke who thinks he's king pin on the forums, however he is easily taken down a peg or two, if your having difficulty with him just ask and i'll give you a picture of him naked to use as a weapon!!

Oh...one last thing his dog is gay by the way!!!

Welcome aboard!

First thing, don't worry, we're all fine.

Julie and Freya were both a bit under the weather last weekend and early last week. On Wednesday Julie went into work (she's off on Tuesdays) and wasn't looking too good. This is understandable as she often gets a summer cold, and being pregnant, she's entitled to be a bit under the weather.

Nonetheless, she was sent home, then on to her doctors, and she apparently ticked enough boxes on the chart for them to treat it as swine flu. She's on the Relenza (an inhaler, pregnancy version of Tamiflu), and Freya is on Tamiflu.

But that's since Wednesday, and neither of them is particularly poorly, so it's most likely that either they don't have swine flu, or if they do they're only experiencing mild symptoms. Me & Becks are both fine.

Unfortunately Julie & Freya are confined to barracks for another couple of days, which has completely shafted our weekend away seeing Rue off.

This, along with the most manic end of term/year in 15 years teaching has accounted for most of my time for the last week.

Anyway, as I say we're all currently fine, so I don't want anyone worrying.

Best wishes.

Steve W

If you have probs getting that vile tasting stuff down Freya's throat, try mixing the dose with a spoonful of jam.
My doc said to mix it with golden syrup, or chocolate spread!!!

Get well soon Julie and Freya. Wish you both well x

We've had no trouble at all, just put it in with her baked beans (it's a similar size and shape).

Both are full of beans today, BTW.
