Welcome
Welcome to the Hackenbush Herald.

You are currently viewing our boards as a guest, which gives you limited access to the most entertaining site on the Internet... Now stop being a fool and Join up or if you have already joined then Log on... we don't bite honestly!!
Inside you will find loads of interesting people to communicate with, laugh with, share a virtual beer with, and just ask for plain old help in anything you need... We are a wide and varied bunch, quite bizarre and strange in most of the things we do, but all good people at heart...
I do however have to warn you about Doug.ie, he's a fat bald headed bloke who thinks he's king pin on the forums, however he is easily taken down a peg or two, if your having difficulty with him just ask and i'll give you a picture of him naked to use as a weapon!!

Oh...one last thing his dog is gay by the way!!!

Welcome aboard!

That's quite a good question, Its got to be live everytime, as that to me is the real truth of the music, I think they go over the top with the twiddly nobs and over produce most albums.

I love some live albums but hate those ones that go "New York, You havin' a good time" or whatever city they are in. I always struggle to get into that type of live album.

An album like Springsteen's Live Box Set is a cracker. No name checking towns just straightforward rock and roll.

I prefer studio albums though as long as they are not so fancy that the songs are unable to be played live.

Oh, that bugs me, too. I've got to say I always have cringed even when Mike would sing "we first met in... San Francisco"
But then, I am just an armchair critic, here, not like I am the rock and roll star trying to get people pumped up that otherwise might not be...

Cream's live albums were FAR better than anything they produced in the studio.

I reckon.
