Welcome
Welcome to the Hackenbush Herald.

You are currently viewing our boards as a guest, which gives you limited access to the most entertaining site on the Internet... Now stop being a fool and Join up or if you have already joined then Log on... we don't bite honestly!!
Inside you will find loads of interesting people to communicate with, laugh with, share a virtual beer with, and just ask for plain old help in anything you need... We are a wide and varied bunch, quite bizarre and strange in most of the things we do, but all good people at heart...
I do however have to warn you about Doug.ie, he's a fat bald headed bloke who thinks he's king pin on the forums, however he is easily taken down a peg or two, if your having difficulty with him just ask and i'll give you a picture of him naked to use as a weapon!!

Oh...one last thing his dog is gay by the way!!!

Welcome aboard!

Yay, I got mine this week, too!! I am so excited for my first Gathering and to meet you all :-) I got the all clear from school, too - I was worried for a bit, I am only allowed to miss 20% of any one class and technically I will miss 25% of this one, but I talked to the Director and told her I had a non-refundable ticket and she was super nice about it and said we'll figure out a way for me to do the work before or as makeup!! Yes!! Never got actual confirmation I am in the Hack block, though, so fingers crossed.
I know someone posted it somewhere here, or on the Alarm site, but what is the best way to get there? Fly into Manchester and take the train, I think someone said? I still need to figure out all the logistics... Sooo excited!!

No, I've got to seriously get on it. I don't know if I can get there in time by leaving the west coast on Thurs and dont' know if I can get a flight back on Sun that will get me all the way back here without spending the night in chicago or something... any thoughts on that?

Really glad to hear you'll be there Steve. Excellent news. You'll have to bring lots of baby pics.

Well Andi, there's a percentage of Hack (and Distant Warning previously) members that won't be at this Gathering for many different reason and that makes me rather sad. I love it when we get almost everyone, but then there's always someone missing.

You're are already part of the gang, from the very beginning of this forum & friendship the basic premiss had always been that all are welcome and not to exclude anyone. As friendships develop all groups can appear slightly closed, but the truth remains that all are welcome.

I've started one - it's going to be 4 classic poppies, 2 in red, 2 in LHS camouflage colours...and I want all Hack members to write messages on it when we get there! :)

Being as artistic as a cow I defer any creation of banners etc to those more worthy and gifted of such skill!
