Welcome
Welcome to the Hackenbush Herald.

You are currently viewing our boards as a guest, which gives you limited access to the most entertaining site on the Internet... Now stop being a fool and Join up or if you have already joined then Log on... we don't bite honestly!!
Inside you will find loads of interesting people to communicate with, laugh with, share a virtual beer with, and just ask for plain old help in anything you need... We are a wide and varied bunch, quite bizarre and strange in most of the things we do, but all good people at heart...
I do however have to warn you about Doug.ie, he's a fat bald headed bloke who thinks he's king pin on the forums, however he is easily taken down a peg or two, if your having difficulty with him just ask and i'll give you a picture of him naked to use as a weapon!!

Oh...one last thing his dog is gay by the way!!!

Welcome aboard!

You boys... Roflmao!!!
Congrats to the community both Distant Warning and the Hack, I knew very few of you when I first joined and you made me feel at home instantly. What a fantastic group of people that I feel privileged to call my friends.
Bravo to Pauline, for making her vision come to fruition and bringing all of us together and Doug M. for keeping it all going since and to everyone here who contributes in so many ways. Here's to many many more.

Well, congrats on 5 years, you guys, I've only been here since very recently, but you've all made me completely welcome and I am really enjoying it here :-)

Apologies, didn't mean to say it that way, just meant for Pauline launching the original DW site and Doug M. (who I had thought started this one), but of course I meant everyone who works so hard behind the scenes and to everyone who contributes so much to keep it going, with their posts etc. I was thinking it in my head just didn't post it right.

Ok i'll come clean..that camp bouncing Dance...we were doing it...!! Gol was trying to teach it to us, he'd learnt it from the West counties of Ireland when he visited there..
Wikipedia says it originated in a shed in Sligo! :?

Ahh....!That explains how you recognised it Doug!! :-D
